Discover the Best Way to Be Successful on Any Weight Loss Program

April 13th, 2011 § 0

Before you begin any weight loss program you need to look closely at a few personal factors. If you want to find out how to lose inches and strip that fat you have to discover how you gained the weight in the first place.

To ensure success in any weight loss program you first need to consult with a doctor because you need to be healthy before you put your body through any diet and exercise program. Secondly you need to look at your attitude towards food- do you eat only when you’re hungry or is it linked to your emotional state or boredom.

Many dieters who want to find out how to lose inches will try really hard to stick to a plan but will fall short in small areas. A mouthful of leftover dinner from the children’s plate, a quick biscuit on a tea break, a little chocolate bar on the way home from the gym; these are all the little things that will ensure that your weight loss program will fail. You think’ it’s only 100, 200 calories and I’ve just done 1 hour in the gym ‘ but it is these bad habits that will mean you will not lose inches off your waist and you may lose some weight but you will not strip that fat and reveal the body you know you can achieve.

The key to success is small steps, don’t try to change your habits too quickly; you may be full of enthusiasm at the start but if the changes are too radical then long term it will mean that you will probably fail.

Step one: look in your cupboards, what is in there that may stand in your way, what will tempt you when you feel a little down and off track. Keep a small amount of favourite foods but plan them into your diet. If you remove everything you are used to the changes could be too hard to cope with.

Step two: plan, plan and plan again. Ensure that there are plenty of ‘good’ foods to snack on and plan for events, late night munchies or hormonal outbursts or just a bad day at the office. I f you have ‘good’ tasty foods in your cupboards that you enjoy it won’t be as much of a struggle.

Step three: try new foods every week. Expand your food experience but again in small stages. You need to enjoy your food to be successful on any weight loss program.

Finally find alternatives such as take the dog for a short walk when your ‘danger times’ are, when you know you will want to snack. Start a hobby that keeps your hands and your mind busy; take your focus away from those bad habits and train yourself into good habits which will help you lose body weight fast and forever.

The Best Way to Lose Fat: Forget the Hype – See What Worked For Me!

April 9th, 2011 § 0

Have you been searching desperately for the best way to lose fat? I too was struggling to find a healthy way to not only lose weight, but to burn my unwanted fat; I soon learned that a lot of the quick weight loss diets just didn’t work. Instead of losing weight, I became a human yo-yo and I always seemed to end up gaining more weight than I was losing. Here are some tips that I learned to lose unwanted fat.

To begin with, the best way to lose fat is by drinking more water: You need to try and drink eight 8 oz glasses of water a day. Water works as a detoxing agent, it helps cleanse metabolic waste out of your body and it also helps to reduce kidney stones. Drinking the right amount of water a day can help to lower blood pressure, and minimize heart disease. Replace soft drinks and sugary drinks with water, it’s not only calorie free, but it also works as a hunger suppressant. It’s good practice to drink 8 oz of water before you eat a meal.

Limit high carbohydrate foods. Excessive consumption of carbohydrates can lead to obesity. Some of the foods to avoid are, granulated sugar, cereals, dried fruits, low fat crackers (large majority of low fat snacks have high levels of carbohydrates to help them taste good.) Some other foods to avoid are flour, cakes, cookies, bread, jams and potatoes. The best way to lose fat is by eliminating these foods from your diet.

Don’t starve yourself! Starvation diets can produce quick weight loss, but can have dangerous side effects, such as physical, behavioral and emotional problems as well as weight gain when you start to eat normal again; this is definitely not the best way to lose fat! I would also recommend, that instead of eating 2 to 3 meals a day; one of the best ways too lose fat is by trying to eat 4 to 5 small meals or 3 meals and 2 healthy snacks.

Modify your diet. In order to lose fat you want to eat foods that are low in calories and fat. Instead of eating a brownie that has 160 calories and 3 grams of fat, eat a ½ cup of broccoli that only has 12 calories and 0.2 grams of fat. One of the best ways to lose fat is by eating foods that are more nutritious like fresh fruits and vegetables; you want to eat foods that are nutrient-dense. Instead of white bread eat whole grained bread; they are high in fiber and more filling. Also you want to eat meats that are lean, such as fish and chicken breast.

As for exercise, the best way to lose fat is cardiovascular workouts, which are a good way to speed up your metabolism. It is better to work out on an empty stomach, when your carbohydrates and blood sugar are low; your body has to turn to an alternative source of energy which is excess fat. You want to get your heart rate up and keep it up for 30 minutes, though you should be comfortable enough during your workout that you could carry on a conversation.

For me, learning about foods and making these small changes to my daily diet was the best way to lose fat; not the fad diets promising quick weight loss which delivered and taught me nothing. I hope that my advice can help you to lose some of the unwanted fat that you are trying to lose. Not only was I able to lose the fat that I needed too, but I have so much more vigor and energy and feel so much more prepared for life’s daily challenges!

The Best Way to Lose Belly Fat for Women

April 8th, 2011 § 0

Everyday women get bombarded with images of young, slim women with really flat abs. So it is natural for women who grew up looking at these pictures to want something similar. So the question all women ask is what is the best way to lose belly fat? Well, throughout time the concept of beauty and health changes constantly. Before in the Middle Ages, plump women were the symbol of beauty because their girth symbolizes affluence and wealth.

But due to discoveries about health, that perception has changed and now the symbol of health and beauty is having a lean figure with no belly fat.

Having abdominal fat is very natural it is natures’ way of storing energy just in case we need it. It’s like if you were lost in a forest and you have nothing to eat, that stored fat in your body is what the body will use for fuel to keep you alive.

But we don’t need that anymore, with the sedentary lifestyle most women has today, that stored fat never really gets used and it poses a medical threat.

The easiest way to get rid of the fat in your abdomen is to lose weight. It is impossible to spot reduce fat so the endless commercials you see about using this equipment and that thing to lose your gut does not work. You need to lose weight to get that flat tummy you want.

The fastest way to lose fat in your gut or as a whole is to make a meal plan. You need to always have protein in all of your meals and you need to cut down on your refined carbohydrates. Which mean less rice, potato and white bread for you.

The basic rule here is for every cup of rice or piece of bread you eat you at least need to eat a couple of ounces of protein. A good rule of thumb here is to eat lean meat the size of your palm.

Eat more frequently but less servings, this will prevent you from overeating.

Another important thing is to get exercise, you need to at least get an hour of exercise everyday to burn out those unwanted gut fat out of you. Do this every day, plan your meals, get enough protein in every meal and exercise every day, before you know it you will lose that belly fast and have that bikini body you have always wanted.

A lot of people get frustrated with losing weight because it takes too long. But there are supplements out there that can help you with losing weight safe and fast. You don’t need to slave away hours working out, you can just do an hour of exercise and take a Weight Loss Supplement, so you can spend the rest of your time with your loved ones.

The Best Way to Burn Fat Effectively

April 8th, 2011 § 0

We’ve been advised for so long that the best way to burn fat is to eat a low fat diet – but the reality is that the best way to burn fat is by eating the right foods as well as exercise! A new study has discovered that people were burning fat when they ate high-protein meals rather than when they ate low protein meals.

Earlier studies also came to the same conclusion – that high protein foods help burn fat. Most people have been more focused on low fat diets and believed the lie that fat is bad, but our bodies essentially need good fats!

One of the strategies to successful weight loss is not starving yourself, and this is where eating protein comes in – protein keeps you feeling fuller for longer which will make it easier for you to stop overeating and snacking on unhealthy food.

Burning body fat is simple when eating the correct foods according to your gender, weight, height, exercise levels, and most important of all – knowing your nutritional Type.

Before deciding to eat more protein it is crucial that you know the type of protein your body needs according to your nutritional Type. So as well as knowing how much protein you need, you also need to know your Nutritional Type to ensure you are eating foods that burn fat.

For instance, Protein Types need high protein meats like dark meat (chicken legs) or high quality steak. Carb Types need light meats or even beans as their source of protein.

Regrettably, most people are unaware of what nutritional typing is and the outcome it has on your health and how it can play a key role in effective weight loss. There are three nutritional types – Protein Type, Carbohydrate Type and Mixed Type.

There are many sites on the internet that have the Nutritional Type Test and I encourage you to do the Type test. This simply requires you to answer several questions on your eating patterns and evaluates your nutritional type.

When you have assessed which ‘Type’ you are then you are well on your way to effectively losing those unwanted inches! I have taken the “Type Test” and I am absolutely amazed at the effortless way I have lost weight by simply eating the right type of protein along with the carbs that fit my nutritional type.

Notes about Cutting Carbs as the Best Way To Burn Fat.

There is a great deal of misunderstanding when it comes to carb restrictions – a low-carb diet is actually a low-grain diet and sad to say most people don’t eat enough protein and consume way too many carbs in the form of packaged and processed foods.

The difference is that carbohydrates need to be vegetables rather than grains. Increasing your carb intake by eating vegetables instead of grains and eating the right quantity and type of protein is definitely the best way to burn fat.

What Is the Best Way to Lose Weight? I’ve Tried Everything But Nothing Works for Me!

April 2nd, 2011 § 0

So just what is the best way to lose weight? There are so many diets and weight loss products out there that you would think we would be a nation of fit, slim, healthy people. Sadly that is not the case and around 90% of people who start a diet will fail. Do you ever stop to wonder why that is?

Obviously the thing that makes diets fail is that people stop them. They either cheat, or just abandon them altogether. Even when people have been successful and reached their weight loss targets they end up putting the weight back on again after they return to their old patterns.

The problem here is that a diet is viewed as a short-term fix that will allow you to achieve a goal and then stop. Chances are it will be perceived as doing without something and will not be something anyone would choose to do if they didn’t have to lose weight.

That’s the problem. If you are to achieve permanent weight loss then you need to think about making lifelong lifestyle changes.

The best way to lose weight is to consume less calories than your body needs. There are two ways to do that, eat less or exercise more. But you need to be a bit more targeted than that.

When it comes to diet you will want to eat a proper, balanced diet. That starts with fruit and vegetables – they really are the dieter’s best friend because they are so versatile. As well as being part of every meal you can easily build your snacking around fresh fruit and vegetables. You’ll still need carbs, but try to stick to the unrefined, wholegrain varieties. Don’t forget milk and dairy products, but stick to skimmed or semi skimmed which contain all the calcium but less fat. The protein found in fish, meat, beans and egg are essential to maintain muscle body’s growth and repair.

Experiment and try new recipes. Don’t force yourself to eat things you don’t like, but at the same time try new things. You may surprise yourself – you may find you prefer grilled peppers stuffed with couscous to a greasy hamburger. Speaking of hamburgers, cut out, or at least reduce foods that are high in fat and sugar. There are so many reasons to avoid them – not just for weight loss.

And don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Speaking of drinking – what about alcohol? If you really must have a glass of wine, or a beer at night, then think about how you can incorporate that into your weight loss plan. Maybe you could have one glass instead of two or three. Or you could try to reduce the level of calories by, for example trying a wine spritzer, which will reduce the amount of alcohol in your drink. Make no mistake alcohol contains lots of calories and will undermine your efforts so cut back even if you don’t want to stop altogether.

Then exercise – think carefully about this one. To be effective you need to do something for around 30 minutes three or four times a week. Ideally you will incorporate a mix of aerobic and resistance training. They do very different things and both are important. Muscles are your secret fat burning furnaces, so resistance training will continue to burn calories long after you stop. The most important thing is to find something you enjoy. There is no point at all in forcing yourself to do something. You will never stick at it – or even if you have the willpower to do so, you will hate it. Life is too short so why put yourself through that agony? There are so many things you could do. Why not get your friends involved – you’ll help to motivate each other. Walk, dance, skate, run, cycle whatever you do, just get out there and do it.

So there you have it – the best way to lose weight – eat a healthy, balanced diet and exercise more. Then just stick with it and let the new slender, fit, healthy and confident you emerge.

The Best Way to Lose Weight Steadily

March 30th, 2011 § 0

Believe it or not, the best way to lose weight is not related to exercise and eating – it is not related to anything physical actually. The most stable way you can get rid of those flabs is to develop your spirit.

The problem with most people is that they do not directly address the issue at hand-weight gain. They look for answers in the internet, in diet books, in pills and in other places where it does not exist. We gain weight because we do not exercise and we eat a lot. It’s that simple. Thus what we need is discipline. We need to develop virtues. We need to strengthen our wills more so it can resist the temptation food offers. But how do we do this exactly? How do we boost our wills so that we can have a passionate drive to regularly exercise and eat healthy? Here are 3 simple ways that might help you.

TIP 1: Know why you want to lose weight.

Ask yourself why you want to be fit. Are you sick and at the risk of losing your family for the possibility of death caused by obesity? Did your seven years ex-boyfriend leave you for a sexier woman? Do you have a running competition to win over? Whatever your reason may be, write it down. Be very specific. Choose a reason that is emotionally attached to you.

TIP 2: Post your fitness goal anywhere visible.

Put your goal in a place where you can always see it. It will serve as an inspiration and a reminder. Place the different virtues you need around your goal as well, such as patience and temperance. This battle will be difficult. You need these sources of inspirations to help you recall why you are fighting in the first place. This is why you have to choose a very emotional goal. Emotions have a power to push man to the limits.

TIP 3: Find a person with a similar goal.

Do not take this literally. You will not find a person who will run a marathon with you. Don’t confuse your personal goal or purpose with tip number 3. This means that you will find another person who wants to lose weight. You do not have to know why he or she does, the important thing is both of you want to lose the flabs. Ask him if he wants to lose it with you. Create a support system. If you can, build a team of “fitness wannabes” go build it! It will be easier for you to win the battle if you have friends backing you up. The wise adage “no man is an island” is applicable even to fitness.

And that’s it! Surprised? Yes, the best way to lose weight does not involve skipping meals or following an awesome exercise program, it’s about taking control of your body and your will. It’s a spiritual battle most of us battle the wrong way. If you are one of the people who have not yet realized that acquiring virtue is the real key to losing extra pounds, you might want to start rethinking your fitness goals.

The Best Way to Lose Weight Fast – Eat Healthy Foods to Lose Weight Naturally

March 25th, 2011 § 0

You’re probably wondering, what’s the best way to lose weight fast? The answer is simple. Stop eating bad carbs and start eating healthy nutritious foods. It doesn’t matter if you need to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds. You will lose the weight by following a simple healthy plan. You probably consume lots of carbs.

Now what I mean is pastries, fried foods, cakes, pies, cookies, donuts, etc. Americans eat so many processed foods, it’s a wonder most of us live past 40. The first thing you must do is make a list of what you eat, then check the labels and ingredients for sugar or fructose and saturated fat. Most people think that processed foods are good for you because that’s what the manufacturer wants us to think.

They’re loaded with sugar and chemicals. Some of the ingredients in processed foods can cause cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Processed foods cause weight gain which in turn causes diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer, strokes and even heart attacks.

When you’re overweight, you’re at risk for these diseases. Aspartame is a sugar substitute and was once listed by the Pentagon as a biochemical warfare agent. BPA is used in the lining of tin cans and is used in most canned foods. Switch out the canned foods for fresh foods, such as canned green beans for fresh or frozen green beans.

Change from fried potatoes to baked potatoes. No wonder your overweight, feeling sluggish, anxious and depressed. But that is about to change. Lose Weight by Eating Healthy Foods You’re feeling bad because of the excess weight and it’s causing your body to malfunction. You must stop eating low carb foods and low calorie diets. Stop eating processed foods. You need to start eating healthier.

Healthy foods will melt the pounds away. Start eating more natural foods, such as frozen and fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, steak, chicken and fish. There are many delicious foods to shed the pounds without starving. You can eat as much as you want and you’ll feel full and satisfied. No more starving at bedtime or sleepless nights caused from the processed foods and sugar.

Actually, sugar is addictive, but you can overcome that. It also gives you the shakes which is messing up your glucose level and drags you down. When you start eating yummy nutritious foods, the pounds will drop. Your skin and hair will look better and you’ll feel vibrant. It’s not your fault, because you’ve seen the commercials with the best weight loss machine, or you fell for the next fad diet. You were fed bad information.

There are so many diets, pills, shakes and machines to choose from, it just gives you one big headache. The fact is; they plain don’t work. Celebrity box diets like Jenny Craig or Nutri-System can be your worst enemy and they’re very expensive. Take aim and fight back.

Forget the long tedious workouts, weight loss machines and the hard sweating crunches. The best way to lose weight fast is simple; just eat healthy foods and move your body 45 minutes per week. You will notice the weight coming off within days, and you’ll look and feel great in just a few weeks. Others will notice when you’re wearing your favorite outfit or you’re at the beach or a party. You’ll feel like a whole new person with a completely different life.

You can lose weight fast with a few simple changes. You deserve to look and feel your best, so go to: http://www.YouCanLoseWeightFast.net and learn how eating nutritious foods can give you a longer healthier life starting now.

Pick the Right Eating Plan With the Best Way to Burn Fat for You

March 22nd, 2011 § 0

Listen to the radio, watch TV or go online and you will get bombarded by images of weight loss on a daily basis. Everywhere you look there is some new plan claiming that it offers the best way to burn fat; after all, we want fat loss, not muscle loss, right? The problem is that most of these plans have nothing concrete to offer.

Let me start right now by telling you that there are no miracle foods. No berry from South America, product from China or herb from Guadalajara will cause pounds of fat to suddenly melt off of your body. Nope, you are going to have to do the right things, on your own for success to arrive.

Let’s Look at the Food

So many of the foods we ingest every day are built not to provide optimal nutrition, but rather to create a craving for more. We now know that the food science has made good use of the way the brain reacts to fat, sugar and salt. Individually each of these causes a desire for more; combined they cause a chemical reaction in the brain that mirrors drug addiction.

In order to succeed in fat loss, you have to change what you eat completely. This change, over time, will reduce your reaction to defeatist foods. Here is how you make the switch.

First, start slowly. Cold turkey methods may seem like the best alternative, but few people have the willpower to stick to such drastic measures; consider the number of smokers who fail with the same plan. Make small changes. For example, eliminate all drinks but water from your diet.

A great way to make slow, steady progress is to replace items as they are finished. Empty out a box of breakfast cereal? Don’t purchase another of the same sort; get some steel cut organic oats instead. Finished up a loaf of bread? Invest in a loaf of sprouted grain bread or a pack of sprouted grain tortillas.

Now, Let’s Think About Exercise

When your goal is fat burning, a healthy eating plan is just the first part of the equation. Exercise is a critical component of any successful lifestyle changes.

There is nearly as much hype about exercise as there is about diet. From weights that shake you into shape to celebrity promoted programs, the average individual can be easily overwhelmed. The answer isn’t as complicated as you might think; combine some interval training with weight lifting and some cardio workouts and you cover your bases.

Interval training improves your burn rate. The goal is to get your heart rate up to 90% for about 4 minutes, then drop it to 70% for about 3 minutes and cycle through for 40 minutes three times a week. Research shows that this kind of pattern is most effective in curbing high insulin response.

Longer bouts of cardiovascular exercise done periodically will help build endurance, while weight training helps to build new muscle mass and strength. Together, they are ideal for health and fat loss.

Selecting the Right Foods Maximizes Your Efficiency

Whole grains are just one of the many foods that are not only good for you, but will actually help you to lose fat. While everyone should undergo a metabolic typing to ascertain which foods are best suited for them, the principals remain the same. Organic food is always better, since the fewer chemicals in your body mean better nutrition.

All true protein sources should be as natural as possible. Grass fed meats contain more antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acid for heart health. Wild caught fish are considerably more nutritious than farmed fish, and they don’t contain high levels of PCBs often found in farmed catches. Organic, whole eggs contain many important nutrients which can’t be obtained when you only eat the whites, and including some protein in every meal improves the body’s ability to burn fat for energy.

If you are really interested in making permanent, life improving changes, then your search is over. The best way to burn fat is to eat right, exercise right and learn how to feed yourself, body and soul.

The Best Way to Lose Weight and Fat

March 8th, 2011 § 0

Being fat is not pleasant. Being fat is not pretty. Being fat is a bad idea. Being fat is not environmentally friendly – for the environment in general, or for your immediate environment. Being fat is a choice – as proven by the lap band – if you can’t eat anymore then you will lose weight… so stop eating and you will lose weight – genius! Weight loss is on so many people’s agenda that it is boring to hear about it – even slim people talk about losing weight.

Losing weight is easy – Eat less: Exercise more.

Weight loss is not about WEIGHT – it is about fat, because muscle weighs more than fat. But be sensible about your fat loss – Don’t under eat: Or over-exercise. Balance is the key to losing weight. Balance is the key to life.

* If you talk about losing weight – stop talking and start doing.
* If you think about losing weight – stop thinking and start acting.

Small changes make a BIG difference: eat smaller portions more regularly – snack on fruit instead of eating full meals; eat salads instead of heavy meats and carbs; skip dessert.

- If you feel hungry at any time, drink water – thirst makes you feel hungry.
- Stop drinking sodas and alcohol – they add to the fat.
- Stop saying, “just this time” to yourself – have some discipline and self-respect.
- Decide to lose weight (& fat) and then be disciplined with your regimen.
- Exercise – even walking will do. House cleaning too. But do something.
- Sexercise – it burns lots of calories and puts you in a good mood; it instills desire – desire to be better and desire to be desired.

Don’t look for shortcuts when you want to lose weight – Weight loss is a process; Weight loss is a lifestyle; Weight loss is not a diet or a fad or a pill.

Don’t overly castigate or congratulate yourself: if you gained some weight, don’t give up – try harder. If you lost a pound or two but you still look fat, don’t be too proud of yourself – keep going.

Don’t use the scales – it does NOT matter how much you weigh – it matters how good you look and feel.

Weight loss is a decision that keeps on giving (in a losing kind of way). Decide on Weight loss (& fat loss) – but stop before you waste away and look like a sickly oddball. Weight loss – a choice.

The Best Way to Lose Weight – Strong Legs Are Your Body’s Fat Burning Engines

March 7th, 2011 § 0

The best way to lose weight is to do the most work you can in a relatively short amount of time. Research shows that short, high-intensity workouts are the best for fat loss and muscle building. The most intense exercise involves your legs. Just think about it, sprinting, squatting, lunges, and box jumps are some of the hardest exercises to do. It’s no wonder many of us shy away from these exercises as they are hard! But if you start to associate hard work with getting really fit, really fast soon you’ll find yourself more inclined to take on the challenge.

Here is a bird’s eye view of how exercise works. You exercise which strains your central nervous system (CNS). The CNS tells the body to react to this new stress that has been placed upon it. This reaction is the body building more muscle. This happens when you recover from your workout (while you are sleeping). The workout and the recovery draw on the bodies resources (fat stores).

So the more you stress your CNS, the more calories you burn during your workout, the more you body has to do to recover, resulting in more muscle built…all resulting in getting you fit faster. There is an added benefit to having more muscle too. The more muscle you carry on your physique the more calories you burn just sitting around doing nothing.

So where do the legs come in? Nothing stresses your CNS more than intense leg work. No amount of crunches or time spent on the elliptical machine will stress your system out the way deep squats or wind sprints will. Never mind that you are actually building that great butt you want when you do leg work, you are also burning all that fat away faster. You want great abs, train your legs. Here’s another added benefit to leg work, one of the best core exercises, if not the best, is heavy squats.

Are you serious about getting fit? Do you want that beach body, and do you want it as fast as possible? The best way to lose weight and to do it quickly is intense leg work. When developing an effective diet and fitness plan, include regular, intense leg work and you’ll see results fast.

One note on safety, make sure you don’t rush in! It’s good to ramp up over the course of a few weeks if not a few months to intense leg work. Are you flexible enough to squat deeply? Do you have good form when you do squat? How long has it been since you’ve actually sprinted? Stretch, do you mobility exercises, build up your strength slowly before going heavy, and build up your sprinting intensity over weeks or months before you do 100% effort. And, as always, check with your physician before starting any new diet and fitness program.

If you want to learn the best way to lose weight, then ImpactFitnessInc.com is for you. We can introduce you to a diet and fitness program that helps you lose weight fast. Learn from the pros who train the pros.
